Remarks :
TANEZROUFT 068 is an H4-H5 chondrite. Olivine and pyroxene show planar fractures, ondulotary extinction and mosaicism. Feldspar is partially converted to maskelynite. It should be therefore classified as shock stage 4. However one shock vein (that would be expected for higher shock degrees i.e. S6) was seen in the studied thin section. This shock vein was investigated by Raman micro-spectroscopy but no high-pressure crystals was detected.
